UP Freshman Confirmation for AY 2010-2011

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

  1. Can I enroll in the University of the Philippines (UP) without confirming my intentions online through the Freshman Confirmation website?
    • Yes, but UP prefers that you signify your intention to enroll or not through the Freshman Confirmation website so the university can give slots to waitlisted students. To confirm your intention to enroll or not use your student number and the PIN mailed to you by the UP Office of Admissions or the Office of the University Registrar of the UP Campus where you have been admitted.

  2. I forgot my freshman PIN; how can I pre-enlist online?
    • Incoming UP Diliman freshmen may use their student number and PIN to pre-enlist before the Advance Freshman Registration. If you lose or forget your PIN, you need to go to the Office of the University Registrar of the UP campus that admitted you to get your PIN.

  3. What is the usual tuition and fees at UP?
    • FCA Support is in no position to answer this question. Please contact the Office of the University Registrar of the UP campus where you have been admitted.

  5. What is the Advance Placement Exam?
    • The UP Advance Placement Exam (APE) is a way to give high school students a chance to get ahead before college. Please inquire at the Office of the University Registrar of the UP Campus where you have been admitted. UP Diliman will not implement the APE this year.
